Scars / Molewarts Removal
What is a Mole and Wart?
mole is a type skin lesion that appears as flesh-colored or pigmented, either raised or flat, annoying and clumsy. It is known as Nevus, referring to multiple harmless and pigmented skin lesions. Conversely, warts are small, rough growths usually found on hands and feet but can occur in various body parts. Warts typically resemble bumpy solid blisters similar to cauliflowers.
Challenges Faced by Patients
Individuals with moles are often viewed as unattractive, and moles can pose risks of skin cancer. Verruca vulgaris is the most prevalent type of wart affecting hands but can spread to other areas. Finger-like warts may develop near the eyes and lips on the face. Warts can also appear in the genital area and around nails. Flat warts, known as Verruca plana, can be seen in clusters on the face, neck, hands, wrists, and knees.
Causes of Moles and Warts
While moles are common in children, they can also occur in adults due to an excess of pigment production by melanocytes, resulting in dark-colored moles. Warts, on the other hand, are often caused by viral infections, specifically from Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) strains. Different strains of HPV are responsible for various types of warts, including plantar warts on feet and anogenital warts.
Mole and Wart Treatments and Benefits
Dermatologists can easily remove moles through a simple Skin Mole Removal Treatment involving surgical excision during a visit. Treatment cost is reasonable, but if cancer is suspected, the removed mole is sent for examination. Warts are treated through various methods, with Salicylic acid being a common prescription. Cryotherapy and Carbon dioxide laser treatments are effective in wart removal. After removal, the skin heals quickly, and both mole and wart removal procedures are straightforward and beneficial.
